Roland Eyerich

Roland Eyerich is from Koblenz in Germany and was an officer at the Federal Ministry of Defence.
Following his retirement and after much travelling, in particular to Scotland, which he loves, he stu-died Social Science, Social pedagogy and Social Work. Now tries to help and support younger generations develop skills and create for themselves a better future. His big passion is music from Blues, BluesRock up to Rock
He has been visiting the North Cyprus with his wife for a number of years to stay now in Germany and at their home in Lapta now. He vistied also Parts of Rebublic of Cyprus as well. So he bring up his passion into his life „music“ and starting as a global music networker from Cyprus with his Blues & Rock Shows at BAYRAK International.
Since 1st of January 2017 he is a on Air on Bayrak International Radio in the German language with his Blues & Rock“ Show. Every Sunday evening from 10pm to 11pm the “Blues & Rock Show with Roland”. It`s an international Radio Show. Repeating every Wednesday same time
Roland is also Promoter from RockCyprus an online hub for all things Rock in Cyprus based in Limassol with their website: https://rockcyprus.org/
From 13th of July 2020 up to 30th of December 2023 he was Programme Maker and Radio DJ also on Hoex Radio , The Dutch Rock Station (Netherlands) with his 2 hours unique „Keep The Blues Rock Alive (KTBRA) “ Show .
Since February 2024 he will now present his unique „Keep The Blues Rock Alive“ Show from the Republic of Cyprus as well at the „Old Town Radio Station“ in Nicosia.

The ingredients for KTBRA are always current music in Blues, BluesRock and Rock and sophistica-ted playlists for every show (more than 30 labels and promoter worldwide supporting him).
Roland’s KTBRA was in German and will be also now presented in English language, but he com-bines this with his passion for music, of which he says: “It’s not just a show for Germans, because my intention is to bring people together regardless of nationality, skin colour, religion or age. Music is one of the instruments to make people happy and peaceful. The radio show is not enough for him, so he organises bands and musicians for the first live meeting place in Northern Cyprus, the unique live Venue “The Soulist Coffee & Music House” in Alsancak/Karavas.
Roland also founded a new project called „Friends Across Borders (FAB)“ – now a 3-days Festival in Cyprus. The Moto/Theme is „Music and Cancer have no boundaries“. He build the Team with the owner of The Soulist and professional musican: Alper Cengiz. Musicans from both sides of Cyprus coming together on one stage in North Cyprus. Always for a good cause – for a Cancer Associati-on!!
The idea behind this festival is to promote above all young artists and to further the “European con-cept” by overcoming mental borders. Be free of prejudices and characterised by mutual respect wit-hout fear. 2nd time this FAB-Festival was on air from 27th to 29th of September at @The Soulist – Coffee & Music House 2019 with 70 musicans from both sides of Cyprus. Always with a „Young Stage“ with young musicans
